801 N. Madison Sold!

801 N. Madison in Hunters Crossing sold today! Yes. After some time on the market, sold for $255,000. This home is a large two story home in Hunters Crossing with a great floor plan. As a resident of Hunters Crossing and an area Realtor, I would like to welcome our new neighbors to Nebraska and to Hunters Crossing. I think Papillion is truly a great place to live and raise a family.

Sincerely,

Steve Lauver

Hunters Homeowners Meeting

The next Hunters Homeowners Association meeting is set for November 20, 2007 at 7:30pm. This meeting is to elect the officers for next year. The meeting will be held at the Sump Library.

I would love to see more participation in the association in order to enhance the entrances of Hunters Crossing and Hunters Ridge.

Just another great Halloween in Hunters Crossing and Hunters Ridge

When I first moved to Hunters Crossing in 2001, I remember experiencing our first Halloween in the neighborhood and saying to my wife, “Wow! I think you need to go buy more candy.” Well, this year I took my son and friend out and once again there were a lot of kids out, homes with their lights on and a lot of parties at area homes. I wanted to say “Thank You to everyone handing out candy and making Halloween a great safe event each year.” My son and his friend ran from house to house saying, “This is the best Halloween ever”. I guess when you're 6 and 7, going house to house trick or treating is the greatest thing ever.

Thanks again!

Steve

Hunters HHA Blog

Hi everyone. Instead of maintaining a website, I thought I would go interactive with an area blog. This my first blogger page, so if I need to make adjustments, just send me an email. Some ideas I thought I could blog about area events, news, recipes, neighborhood watch, etc.

Let me know what you think of this format.

Also, I was thinking a goal for the residents and homeowners association next year should be to evaluate the entrances, trim and remove old dead plants and replant various areas. If everyone in the area would join the association (300+ residents x $25) we would have $7,500 to make these updates. Give me your thoughts.
