As most of you have noticed, our sign at the Target entrance has been damaged.
Here is what
happened. A young inexperienced driver with his mother was coming home. The road was slick and he started to fish tail and over corrected. He lost control and actually hit the sign with the back of his car. The police did file an accident report and collected insurance information from the owner. The insurance will pay for the repairs needed to the sign and brick, but the Hunter's Homeowners Association will
need to work with
Papillion City Works department to collect bids and make sure the work is done properly in the Spring.
We will try and get a spokesperson from the City Work Department to come to the next meeting in
February.
Next meeting is Feb 26, 2008 at 7:00 pm at the Sump
Library. I will post more later.
